The entrance to the Neuse River Trail at Anderson Point Park officially opened last month and just a short drive from the house it is a great place to go for a bike ride. Friday night we rode to the trail about 9 miles round-trip.
The trail runs along side the Neuse River (surprise) and crosses it in several places. This means bridges – lots of bridges. The bridges were pretty impressive especially the suspension bridge.
These pictures were taken with the Canon SX230 at various stops along the way. The whole trip took about an hour with frequent stops along the way. If you want to run or ride the trail head to 20 Anderson Point Dr Raleigh, NC 27610 and follow the signs.
