What a great house. Our week really got kicked off when we discovered there is a porcelain cat in the living room. We named it Randy. We gave him a tour of the OBX. Lesson 1 – bouncers at The Jolly Roger are NOT cat-friendly. But the Seafood Buffet place LOVES Randy – go there and mention the porcelain cat to the manager. They love Randy. From there Randy toured the Corolla Lighthouse, tanned on the beach (yes, he used sunscreen!) and flew a kite.It crashed – porcelain cats aren’t so good at kite flying.
We were a bit taken aback by that creepy painting in the living room – a pig drinking wine and staring at us. Really – what is that?!? The kitchen is awesome, but you can only fit four people comfortably in the walk-in pantry.
We suggest bike rides inside K-Mart – they really don’t mind at all – that’s pretty cool. Randy is fond of reading. You’ll notice a few books related to cats throughout the house. Weird. Imagine what our week would have been like without your porcelain cat.
